The Member Home Page is your personal control panel while on the software. The other modules are used to share information and interact with the members of the site. You can also join groups and create friend networks on Life Skills Learning Center. |

View My Profile |
This is a view of your personal profile page. This is the information everyone sees about you. Each member on the site has their own personal profile page. To change information on your profile page please click the Edit My Profile link. |

Edit My Profile |
Use this section to change profile information about yourself. The information you enter here will be viewable by others on the site or individuals on the internet. |
All the profile information that you enter is searchable from the Members module. |

Upload/Change Photos |
You can upload as many photos as you like. All photos must be under one half megabyte in size. To find out more about an easy way to size your photos, please see this sites home page. The photos will be viewable to other members of the site when they view your profile. This is a part of your profile information. |

|
Account Settings |
This allows you to configure your experience with the site. You can change email, stop notifications, change privacy settings and a variety of things. Please review these settings and change them towards your needs. |

|
View/Delete All Endorsements |
Members of your group can endorse you by posting comments about you. Endorsements are normally positive comments from colleagues, friends, and associates and are positive towards your profile. You can view your endorsements here and delete endorsements that you do not like. |

Manage Calendar |
Life Skills Learning Center provide a daily, weekly, monthly calendar for you to manage your activities. You can also share your calendar items with your friends or group. |

|
My URL/ My Blog URL |
You can cut and paste these URLs and email them to anyone you would like to share this information with. They will be able to view these pages but will not be able to perform any function on the site unless they join the site. |

My Groups |
This is a list of all the groups that you joined. Click on the group icon to get connected with that group. You can click Create Group to start your own group. If you do not find a category for the group you want to create, or the subcategory, please email member Dave to set that up for you. |

My eMails |
You can see the eMail New Messages counter from here. Click the message link to go to the eMails from here. |

Show My |
This is a control panel that takes you to different personal important areas of the site. |

Job Post Takes you the Jobs module to see the jobs you posted. |
|
|
My Announcements Takes you to the Announcement section to see the announcements you posted. |
|
|
My Groups Takes you the My Groups module to show you the groups you belong to. |
|
|
My Network Takes you to the My Network section to see and manage your network. You are able to build a network on the site even though you are not a Group Admin. Your network will consist of people from this and different group that agree to be in your network when you make a networking request. |

Upcoming Birthdays A way to see upcoming birthdays. |

|
Group Announcements |
When your Group Admin sends announcements you will receive them here. You will occasionally receive announcements from the Life Skills Learning Center admin here as well. |

My Announcements |
You will be able to build your own network of people on the site. You can send announcements to your personal network from here. When they send announcements you will receive them here as well. |
|

Other Modules |
My Groups |
Use this module to find groups you would like to join. Search for group or look at group by category. Once you find a group you can click on the group icon to get to the group home page and learn more about the group. You can join a group from the group home page. |

Search |
You can search for members in your group or linked groups. Linked group are groups that are joined to your group. Group Admins determine which groups to link with online. Once you find members of your group or linked group you can click on the member photo to see the member profile and communicate with the member in a variety of ways. You can also add the member to your network if they approve of this request. |

Invite |
You can use the Invite module to build your group membership. You can invite as many people as you like by importing from your MS Outlook, MS Outlook Express, or a comma separated values (csv) file. You can also type in the email addresses of people you would like to invite along with an invitation message if you choose. |
We also provide a Show My Invite Link section. This section shows you the link we send to members you invite from our system. You can copy this link and send it to others from your external email system or your contact management system. Recipients of this link can click on the link to join the site and join your group. |

eMail |
The eMail module is used for all email communications between you and members of your group. |
|
|
Blog |
Blogs are used to share information with others on the site and the internet. Blogs are exposed to the entire internet so be aware of the information you post on blogs. You can also subscribe to other blogs on the site. |

|
Events |
Your Group Admin can post upcoming events for your group. Events that are opened to others outside your group can be found on the Group Home Page. Some events will be free and some will be payable. The Group Admin controls these features. |

Chat |
Chat allows you to communicate live with others in your group about subject of interest. (coming soon) |
|
|
Forum |
You can post information to various forum topics. You can create forums or respond to forums posted by other members of your group or linked groups. |
|
|
Video Library |
You are allowed to upload video content to the site. This information is visible to and playable by members of your group. Your Group Admin has the right to approve or reject any content posted to the group. |
|
|
Group Library |
You are allowed to upload files or content to the site. This information is visible to members of your group. Your Group Admin has the right to approve or reject any content or files posted to the group. |
|
|
Jobs |
You can post or find job on the site. Jobs can be posted by your group members or others on the site. |
|
|
Advertise |
You can advertise your business or service on the site. This advertisement can be targeted to group categories, location, site pages. Advertising costs are posted on the site. Advertisements can be done in text or banners. |
